Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday approved two contracts.
One was with BTM/CDI Jail Management System, Penndel, Bucks County, to replace UCM for records management.
The cost is $11,250 and a one-time fee of up to $2,500 for PA SAVIN.
PA SAVIN allows victims of a crime to use the phone or Internet to check the custody status of their offender, and also to register to be notified via phone and/or email of any changes in their offender’s custody status.
The contract runs from April 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, 2023.
The second contract is with Steelfusion Clinical Toxicology Laboratory, Monessen, Westmoreland County, for postmortem fluid toxicology testing services and expert witness testimony, if needed, for the coroner’s office.
The one-year contract is a fee-for-service and will automatically renew unless terminated.
