Man with warrants charged after Kidder traffic stop

A New York man with multiple warrants for his arrest has been charged with receiving stolen property following a traffic stop in Kidder Township.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by officer Mason Moran of the Kidder Township Police Department:

On Feb. 11, Moran conducted a traffic stop on a Chrysler Voyager on Route 940 and Moseywood Drive for a vehicle infraction.

Moran spoke with the driver, Henry Schuck, 55, of Eastport, New York, who provided his information along with the vehicle registration.

Schuck said the vehicle was a rental and didn’t have any insurance information to provide.

Schuck said that he was the one who rented the vehicle and said he was using it for work.

Upon running Schuck’s information, police discovered he had multiple warrants for his arrest and was wanted in Texas for a probation violation on a felony charge.

This vehicle that Schuck was driving also came back stolen out of the state of Mississippi from EAN Holdings LLC (Enterprise).

Schuck was placed into custody for receiving stolen property since he was in physical control and possession of the vehicle.

Schuck was also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for operating a vehicle without the consent of the owner.

Schuck faces charges of receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of automobile.

He is currently incarcerated in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 monetary bail, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Joseph D. Homanko Sr. of Weatherly.
