Several months after its closure, the former Blue Ridge Country Club in Palmerton has been sold.

Tim Nagle, president of Blue Ridge LLC based in the Lehigh Valley said the company purchased the 315-acre property from the First Northern Bank and Trust Company, Palmerton.

The property will now be known as the Blue Shamrock Golf Course, Nagle said.

Blue Ridge LLC is comprised of Nagle, his wife, Lisa, his father-in-law, Bruce Ebert, and his sister-in-law, Tara Ebert, who are all equal partners. They also own Pipeline Petroleum, Inc., Macungie, and Pocono Oil & Propane, Stroudsburg.
