February 23, 1954 - Frank “Razz” Radocha and John Kanuch power Lansford to a commanding 78-46 victory over Nesquehoning to clinch the Black Diamond League championship. Radocha finishes with a game-high 28 points for the Panthers, who finish the league season undefeated. The winners trail by eight points in the first quarter before turning things around the rest of the way. Kanuch collects 27 points, while teammate Mike Midas finishes with 17. The Nesquers receive a team-high 10 points from Billy Donald.
