The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following road work this week:
Carbon County
• Packer Township/Nesquehoning: Route 93 between Route 209 and Luzerne County line, crack sealing, Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monroe County
• Interstate 80: Exit 302 (Route 611) and Exit 305 (209 business), nighttime lane restrictions on I-80 east or west for a drilling operation, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Friday.
• Chestnuthill Township: Route 115, between Route 209 and Luzerne County line, pothole patching, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.
• Ross Township: Upper Smith Gap Road, between Mount Eaton Road and Carbon County line, tree Cutting/Removal, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.
Northampton County
• Bethlehem Township: Route 22 between: Routes 512 and 33, nighttime construction, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., lane restriction through Friday.
• Bethlehem Township: Route 33 between Interstate 78 and Route 22, shoulder work, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Thursday.
• Route 22: litter removal, between Schoenersville exit and Route 512 interchange, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, routes 512 and 191, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; between routes 191 Interchange and 33 Interchange, Thursday.
• Walnutport: Blue Mountain Drive and Lehigh Drive, crack Sealing, 9 a. m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
Schuylkill County
• Blythe, New Castle, and Butler townships: Route 61 between: St. Clair and Ashland, pothole patching, lane restriction with flagging, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.
