State police at the Bethlehem barracks are investigating the theft of scrap metal from a residence in North Whitehall Township.

Police said a 59-year-old Slatington woman reported to them at 8:55 a.m. Feb. 2 that someone stole a push mower and tool box having a combined value of $250 from the residence.
