State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported on the following incidents:

• Michael Nixon, 42, of Waynesburg was charged with indecent exposure after police responded to an incident at 10:22 p.m. Feb. 2 along the Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township.

Police said the victim in the incident is a 56-year-old man from Kunkletown. They did not provide any other details of the incident.

• A burglary was reported at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 5 at a residence at the intersection of Pohopoco Drive and Tar Run Road in Towamensing Township.

Police said a neighbor who maintains the lawn at the unoccupied residence called them after noticing damage to the entryways and lights turned on inside the home.

• Police were summoned at 5:49 p.m. Feb. 11 to a property on Indian Trail in Penn Forest Township to investigate a theft.

The victim, a 55-year-old man from Jim Thorpe, reported someone stole several silver bars and coins, as well as other documentation, from him.

• A 27-year-old woman is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 11:44 p.m. Feb. 9.

Police said they stopped the woman for a Motor Vehicle Code violation while she was driving a 2015 Hyundai Elantra at the intersection of Gilbert Road and Treible Drive in Chestnuthill Township.

• A 29-year-old Germansville man is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances after a traffic stop at 2:07 a.m. Feb. 12.

Police said they stopped the man for Motor Vehicle Code violations while he was driving a 2017 GMC Denali at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and First Street in Palmerton. His name was not released.
