John “Sonny” Kovatch Jr., chief executive officer of the Kovatch Corporation, announced this week the firm has completed acquisition of the former CertainTeed building at Route 54 and Mountain Avenue in Nesquehoning.

This facility, which is less than one-half mile from the Kovatch Manufacturing complex, is approximately 165,000 square feet and will significantly enhance Kovatch’s operations capacity in Nesquehoning.

Kovatch said the firm will be making a significant investment to rehabilitate the structure in order to give the company the flexibility in handling future expansion needs.
