During School Counselor’s Week, Feb. 2-6, at a breakfast held at the Lehigh-Carbon Technical Institute, Lisa Ogozalek of the Panther Valley School District was named LCCC’s “Counselor of the Year.”

“Ogozalek has been a tremendous asset to the Panther Valley Middle School,” said Lisa Mace, school principal. “She has worked hard to promote positive rewards for the students.”

Among the programs Ogozalek helped to promote at the school include the Panther Pawsitive, 2009 Monthly Rewards, a Career Pathways program for the district and a successful Red Ribbon Week full of activities.
