Dana Hall, 486 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, was selected by Palmerton Borough Council to fill the vacancy on the board created by the death of the late Kenneth C. Jones Jr. last night during a regularly-scheduled meeting.

A longtime resident of the borough and part-owner of Village Flowers of Palmerton, Hall was selected from four borough residents who applied for the vacancy. He will fill the remainder of Jones’ term which expires at the end of this year.

The other applicants were Janet Lerow, 320 Delaware Ave., Kevin Hanisak, 808 Edgemont Ave., and Erik Peters, 50 Lafayette Ave.
