Thrivent Financial will host a free “College Planning 101” Workshop in Palmerton.

The 60 minute event will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 25, at the Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. The event will be presented by Susan E. Lovejoy, Financial Advisor with Thrivent Financial.

This event will answer key questions including:

• How choices made in high school can affect admissions and financial prospects.

• The basics of college financial aid.

• Why it’s not too late to have a plan.
