A Tamaqua bar has been cited by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, for violating the state’s liquor laws.

300 Broad St. Inc., trading as Hang Loose, 300 E. Broad St., was cited for a violation that took place on Nov. 24, 2022.

LCB officials say the business furnished alcoholic beverages between 2-7 a.m. in violation of the liquor code.

Penalties range from $50 to 1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation against the licensee.
