Harry E. Wert of Lehighton was installed as president of the Carbon County Fire Police Association this week at the West End Fire Company No. 2, Palmerton. He has served the organization for many years.

Other officers installed by District Magistrate Bruce Appleton are James Garis of Lehighton, vice president; Tony Rouco of Penn Forest Township, recording secretary, Ron Andreas of Palmerton, treasurer, James Wagner of Lehighton, chaplain, and Charlie Osborne of Palmerton, sergeant-at-arms.

Installed as directors were Robert Walck, Herbert Gilbert, Raymond Moyer, Mark Rehrig, Ernest Guldner and Russell Fronhesiser.
