Proceeds of $32,590 from the 1975 Palmerton Hospital Festival brought to $318,000 the amount contributed to the hospital building fund by the festival in 11 years.

Last year’s proceeds were the fifth highest since the festival began a little over a decade ago.

Geza E. Holczman, general chairman of the festival, said the proceeds were “gratifying: considering last year’s anticipated costs in time and materials was staggering.”

The festival was moved from its former site of the Palmerton Borough Park to the old athletic field on Delaware Avenue.
