Lehighton’s Katie Wojton will continue her academic and athletic career at Susquehanna University.

Wojton will major in accounting, and be a member of the River Hawks’ track and field team.

The current senior has been on the Indians’ team for three years, and has been a two-time league and district qualifier. She earned a medal at leagues while a member of the 3200 relay team.

Wojton also ran cross country, where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and a two-time team MVP. She earned medals twice at the Schuylkill League meet. She also plays on the Lehighton girls basketball team.

The daughter of Scott and Lisa Wojton, Katie is also the Student Council president, the National Honor Society historian, the Future Business Leaders of American treasurer, a yearbook and social media photographer, and a student section leader.
