One person was injured early Monday morning in a crash in the White Bear section of Summit Hill.

The incident occurred just after 5 a.m. when a driver traveling west lost control crossing a lawn and hitting an attached garage at 131 West White Bear Drive. The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center.

Summit Hill fire police maintained traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway.

Summit Hill police, assisted by Jim Thorpe police are investigating the incident.
