At least one person was injured Sunday morning in a crash in Ryan Township.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. as the driver was traveling west on Route 54 and lost control. The late model Chevrolet sedan veered off to the left entering a lawn impacting with a large rock rolling onto its side. The injured were treated at the scene by members of the Ryan Township ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center. Dispatched to the scene were the Ryan Township, Delano and Hometown fire companies. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
