Michael Kalny was re-elected president of the Lansford Republican Club during last night’s meeting held in the AMVETS Post Home in that community. It was the second consecutive year that Kalny was tabbed to lead the club.

Other officers nominated and elected were Olga Surotchak, vice president; Luther J. Nochton, secretary; Charles Roberts, treasurer; and Tony Polakovich, sergeant-at-arms.

Joining the club members were Joseph Modrick, Carbon County prothonotary who is the club’s registration chairman, and Marie E. Mayer, vice chairwoman of the Carbon County Republican Committee.
