Police took a man into custody Friday night who caused a disturbance at St. Luke’s Miners Campus in Coaldale.

According to reports from the scene, police said the man had been agitated and made comments about shooting up the hospital after creating a scene, but did not have a gun.

The incident began shortly after 6 p.m. and was resolved quickly.

An officer at the scene said the man is in custody and will now get the help he needs.
