A body was found Monday afternoon by the train tracks in the area of Second Street and Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.

Borough police Chief Tim Kromer said officers were called at 3:30 p.m.

Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller said he is not sure of the male’s name or age at this point.

Palmerton EMS assisted at the scene.
