The one-hour session is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton.

It will be presented by Susan E Lovejoy, financial adviser with Thrivent Financial in Lehighton.

Among the topics that will be covered are:

• When should I apply for Social Security?

• How can I maximize my benefits?

• How will this affect my spouse?
