The Palmerton and Panther Valley wrestling teams both recorded wins on Wednesday.

WRESTLING

Salisbury-Palmerton

Dillon Lombardi scored a pin in the final match to help Palmerton rally for a 35-31 Colonial League win over Salisbury.

Trailing 27-12, Kellen Trotter (114), Josh Merkel (127) and Lombardi (139) all collected some valuable bonus points for the Bombers (2-9 overall; 1-4 CL) with pins to secure the team’s first league victory of the season.

Derek King (145) and Bryce Smith (152) scored back-to-back falls to open the match for Palmerton.

Weatherly-Williams Valley

Weatherly rolled to a 37-18 victory over Willams Valley.

The Wreckers cruised to a 28-9 halftime lead and never looked back. Chance Stauffer and Matthew Adler led the Wreckers, as Stauffer and Adler finished with seven and six points, respectively.

Camden Berger led the Vikings with six points.

7TH GRADE

Weatherly-Williams Valley

Williams Valley topped Weatherly for a 33-25 win.

Gabe Rodriguez poured in a game-high 17 points for the Vikings.

Kyle Reiner paced the Wreckers with 13 points.

Tamaqua-Marian

Marian rolled to a 55-24 win over Tamaqua.

Kaiden Nolasco netted a game-high 17 points for the Colts, while Justin Delacruz added 14 points.

Kenny Rivera-Berrios recorded six points for the Blue Raiders.

Williams Valley-Weatherly

Williams defeated Weatherly, 41-12.

Cierra Brill paced the Vikings with a game-high 21 points.

Mya Binder recorded eight points for the Wreckers.

Blue Mountain rolled to a 52-5 win over Panther Valley.

Faust paced the Eagles with 15 points, while Freagle added 12.
