Lynn Hoffman, Chief Little Wolf, of Weatherly will discuss the history of the Lenape tribe during a program at 7 p.m. Friday at the Weatherly Area Community Library.

The Lenape lived in this area before it was settled by Europeans.

Hoffman will also talk about the Delaware Indian trail that crosses this area, and the efforts of the Wyoming Trail Council to retain as much of the ancient culture of Native American ancestors as possible.

The program is geared toward adults. Interested students are welcome as well.

Artifacts will be on display, and a question and answer period will be included in the program. Sign up at the library at 1518 Brenkman Drive, or call 570-427-5085 and leave a message.
