Pleasant Valley’s bid for its fifth win in six games came up short against Whitehall on Friday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Pleasant Vy.-Whitehall

Whitehall rallied for a 58-56 victory over Pleasant Valley in Eastern Pennsylvania Conference action.

Luke Keppel led four Zephyrs (8-4) in double figures with 12 points. Aiden Parvel, Seth Hoderewski and Gavin Roberts all scored 10 points for Whitehall, which trailed 46-44 entering the fourth quarter.

Jarod Moore scored 12 points for the Bears (5-6), while Pat Moore added 10. Sean Hallenbeck and Austin Ratti each hit three 3s apiece and finished with nine points.

Savannah Gawrylik and Maddy Wetzel scored 18 points apiece to lead North Schuylkill to a 64-45 Schuylkill League victory over Lehighton.

Olivia Serfass had 14 points to lead Lehighton. Taylor Bowman added 10 points and Charli McHugh chipped in nine.

The Spartans improved to 5-0 in league play and 7-2 overall. The Indians fall to 2-3 in the league and 4-8 overall.

Caelan Quick scored 14 points, while Madison Kramer added 11 points as Nativity (5-4) jumped out to a 26-13 halftime lead.

Kelly Reiner led the Wreckers (3-6) with 14 points. Emma Kane added 13 points.
