State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a cellphone from a Ryan Township, Schuylkill County location.

Troopers said a 52-year-old man from Rosemont Avenue in Barnesville reported he ordered an Apple iPhone 14 pro max in December 2022. He said he contacted AT&T to check on delivery and he was told it was delivered and in use.

The value of the phone was listed at $1,998.99. The investigation is continuing.
