Mahoning Township will operate under the same guidance this year.

Supervisor Robert Slaw, who was absent, was reappointed chairman at Tuesday’s reorganization meeting.

Supervisor Myron “Zeke” Blahy was appointed as vice chairman.

Other appointments:

• Natalie Haggerty, secretary/treasurer, $25.60 an hour.

• Barbara Kester, full-time secretary, $20 an hour.

• Nanovic Law Office, Tom Nanovic, solicitor.

• LTL Consultants, township engineer, zoning officer and building code official.

• Nevin Frey, roadmaster, $27.75 an hour.

• Gabe Szozda, part-time police officer, $27 an hour.

• Supervisors Myron Blahy and Brian Reeser to oversee the police department.

• Supervisors Ron Reeser and Brian Reeser to oversee the road department.

• Set the salary for part-time winter road department workers Nicholas Steigerwalt, Ronald Wenrich, Ronald Wehr, and AJ Wenrich at a rate of $20 per hour if they hold a CDL; $18 an hour for all others.

• Set the rate of pay for part-time summer road department worker Jeffrey Kirsch at $15 an hour.

• Approved affirmation of all supervisors authorized to work when needed, if qualified, to do the work.

• Recommended the board of auditors a rate of pay for working supervisors at $20 an hour for CDL work; $18 an hour for all other work performed.

• Recommended the board of auditors a rate of pay of $25.38 for working Supervisor Ron Reeser and benefits same as Teamster Contract 2022-2024.
