Shawn Gilbert will again serve as chairman of the Rush Township Board of Supervisors.
The board held its reorganization meeting for 2023 Tuesday night with Gibert, supervisors and other township employees retaining the positions they held in 2022.
Robert Leibensperger will remain board vice chairman and Jeannine Motroni will continue in the role of supervisor.
Deborah DelFranco was reappointed as the township’s full-time secretary/treasurer, and Kristin Woleslagle retained her position as full-time administrative assistance.
Attorney Christopher Riedlinger will continue as the board’s supervisor in 2023.
Peter Fagan was reappointed as solicitor of the township’s Planning Commission, and Burke & Burke will again serve as solicitor for the township Zoning Hearing Board.
Supervisors appointed Arro Consulting as both the township’s zoning and code enforcement officer and engineering firm on an as-needed basis.
The board also reappointed William Brior as sewage code enforcement officer; Eiden Neifert, Rob Sweeney and Enn Poeldurk as road crew workers; Bradley Hess, Robert Bechtel, Richard Sinton, Thomas Fort and Mary Beth Elias as part-time police officers; Edward Tite as the emergency management coordinator, and David H. Clewell Sr. as the EMA assistant.
Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month beginning in February at the township municipal building in the village of Hometown.
