December 31, 2009 - Northern Lehigh, Panther Valley and Tamaqua all have six players named to the First Team of the Times News All-Star Football Team. The Bulldogs place three each on offense and defense, led by running back and TN Football Player of the Year Cody Remaley. Other Nolehi players on the First Team include Joe Seremula (TE), Christian Fruedenberger (OL), Brandon Mohrey (DL), Matt Gill (LB) and Jake Kern (DB). Panthers on the top team include Casey Lawrence (QB), Jake Dunn (WR), Jason Harrison (DL), Greg Pecha (DL), Ryan Richards (LB) and Kyle McAvoy (DB), while Blue Raiders receiving honors are Grif Griffiths (RB), Anthony Bumbulsky (WR), Erik Krause (OL), Mike Gurcsik (OL), Eric James (DL) and Garth Lakitsky (DL).
