Galvin Dudley, 43, of Henryville, is facing disorderly conduct charges as a result of an incident that took place at 2:18 a.m. Dec. 19 in Pocono Township.

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said they received a large number of phone calls from a man refusing to identify himself, only requesting information on a car involving Dudley. Police said the calls were harassing in nature and that desk personnel at the barracks were unable to conduct normal emergency communications operations.

Police said troopers went to Dudley’s residence while the calls continued, but he resisted police efforts to detain him. They said the investigation showed Dudley was responsible for the harassing calls.
