Lehighton Borough Council on a 6-0 vote took the following action at a special meeting on Monday:

• On a 5-1 vote, terminated police officer L15, with a post-opportunity to address council at its next meeting. Councilman Joe Flickinger was opposed.

• Granted conditional final approval to Mr. and Mrs. Barry Christman’s subdivision request for 35 and 37 Second Avenue.

• Approved the residential Christmas Light Contest winners.
