A New Year’s Day Trout Fishing Adventure will be held Jan. 1 on the Little Schuylkill River, just north of Tamaqua.

Trout will be stocked at 10 a.m., and fishing will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A $10 donation includes food and participation fee. There will be hot dogs, soup, coffee, water and other goodies.

The event is being held by the Schuylkill Headwaters in cooperation with Schuylkill County Trout Unlimited.
