A special meeting of Penn Forest Township supervisors was held on Dec. 12.

The township accepted the resignation of full-time Transfer Station worker Robert Sloss, who has accepted a job elsewhere. Part-time Transfer Station worker Ron Nametko was promoted to fill the vacancy.

Supervisors also voted to advertise, after a five-day union board posting, an opening for a part-time laborer at the Transfer Station. Pay is $17.13 an hour.
