The Carbon County Commissioners acted on the following items during Thursday’s meeting:

• Reappointed John T. “Jack” Finnegan of Lehighton to a three-year term on the Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission.

• Reappointed Craig Zurn of Jim Thorpe to a five-year term to the hospital authority.

• Reappointed Mark A. Sverchek of Lehighton to a five-year term on the industrial development authority.

• Approved a proposal with Vistacom of Allentown to purchase a Ploy Cart System for courtroom 1 at a cost of $21,759.71.

• Approved an addendum to the sub-grant agreement with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown for the continuation of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program in the amount of $105,250.44. The guidelines to receive help through the program are the same.
