A third member of the Advisory Council to the Carbon County Area Agency for the Aging has resigned, it was revealed during Thursday’s meeting of the County Commissioners.

Mrs. Thomas McWilliams, Jim Thorpe, submitted her registration. A former assistant superintendent of schools in Carbon County, she served with the council since it was formed along with the Rev. Wilbur Albright, Summit Hill, whose resignation was announced last week. He was also chairman of the board.

An earlier resignation came from Mrs. B. Frank Rosenberry of Palmerton. Named recently to succeed her is Mrs. Joan Wildoner, wife of Commissioner Charles E. Wildoner.
