GSL Public Strategies Group announced Tuesday that former state Sen. John T. Yudichak has joined the group as a senior adviser.

Yudichak has more than 20 years of experience in shaping legislative, budgetary and regulatory policy in the Commonwealth.

He most recently served three terms as a state senator for District 14 in Carbon and Luzerne counties.

Yudichak earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Penn State.

Yudichak was chairman of the Senate Community and Economic Development Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Aging and Youth Committee and Minority Chairman of the Senate Environmental and Energy Resource Committee, a role he held for nearly a decade. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served the 119th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for 12 years.
