A new holiday festival will debut Saturday in Lehighton.
Hometown Vintage Christmas, organized by the Lehighton Downtown Partnership, will be from noon to 6 p.m. on First Street.
Visitors can stroll through decorated downtown Lehighton and visit its shops and handcrafted vendors. There will be music, a visit with Father Christmas, and hot chocolate.
Among the activities offered will be Christmas horse and wagon rides, a kids craft corner, and pictures with Father Christmas.
There will be a traffic pattern change to First Street, as First Street between North Street and Iron Street will be closed to all traffic. South Street between First Street and Second Street as well as North Main Lane will be closed to all traffic as well.
All vehicles will need to be moved by 7 a.m. Saturday.
For motorists, they can take an alternate route by following North Street and making a left on Second Street. They may then travel to Iron Street and make another left to take them back to First Street.
