Nesquehoning family helping children

A Nesquehoning family who tries to bring delight to the community through Halloween and Christmas decorations, is hoping to help Panther Valley Elementary school children stay warm this winter.

Alan Kloss is working on setting up a Christmas wonderland at his home along Seventh Avenue in Nesquehoning.

He has placed a bin outside for those wishing to donate new hats and gloves and new or gently used children’s winter jackets.

This is the second time this year he has partnered with the school to hold donation drives.

During Halloween, there was a bin out to collect various supplies that was then donated to the elementary school.
