A man is in custody following a standoff in Gilbert Tuesday evening.

State police at Troop N said a man was barricaded in the residence but the situation ended peacefully. No one was injured.

State police were on the scene on Mill Pond Road, Polk Township, Monroe County.

Police closed Route 209 from the Turkey Hill to the car wash.

A special response team was called to the scene.

Trooper Anthony Petroski, public information officer with Troop N said this was an isolated incident.
