State police at Fern Ridge - crashes

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes:

• A 2019 Toyota Highlander and a 2021 Ford F-150 sustained disabling damages in an incident at 4:23 p.m. Nov. 28 on Route 534 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the operators of both vehicles claimed the other crossed the double yellow lines. They collided at an angle.

• Mya E. Soto, 27, of Sunbury, suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 10:13 p.m. Nov. 12 on Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township.

Police said the other driver, Viviana Gerena, 48, of Pullman, Washington, and a passenger, were not injured.

Police did not provide any other details of the incident.

• Darren Fils-Aime, 20, of Stroudsburg, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a two-vehicle mishap at 2:54 p.m. Nov. 14 on Bartonsville Woods Road in Jackson Township.

Fils-Aime was driving a 2015 Nissan Maxima and was not injured.

The other driver, operating a 2020 Ford XL, Karalea A. Ruvo, 29, of Saylorsburg, was uninjured.

No other details were provided.

• Paul H. Manderbach, 60, of Brodheadsville, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a crash at 12:22 p.m. Nov. 19 in the parking lot of the CVS story in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he was driving a 2005 Subaru Outback around the rear of the building when it slid on ice, hit the curb and struck a 2010 Mitsubishi that was parked, pushing it into a 2013 BMW. He was not injured.

• Gregory A. Fink, 67, and Pamela A. Fink, 63, both of Slatington, suffered injuries in a crash at 11:47 a.m. Nov. 26 on Route 715 in Jackson Township.

Police said Gregory Fink was driving one of the vehicles, with Pamela as his passenger, while the driver of the other vehicle was an unnamed 17-year-old girl from Stroudsburg.

She and Gregory Fink had minor injuries while Pamela Fink had a “possible injury,” police said.

• Renee P. Foulks, 64, of Henryville, suffered suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6:34 p.m. Nov. 28 on Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg, after the crash.

Police said she was driving a 2015 Nissan Rogue northbound and entered a curve when the passenger-side tire left the roadway, striking a culvert and traffic sign. The car then overturned onto its roof and came to rest about 50 feet beyond the culvert. It was towed from the scene.

• Two people were injured in a crash at 7:58 a.m. Nov. 19 on Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police identified them as Donna J. Belser and Richard C. Belser Jr., both 71 and of Saylorsburg. Police said they suffered minor injuries and were transported to the Lehigh Valley-Pocono, East Stroudsburg.

Police said Donna Belser was the operator of one of the vehicles. The other driver, Stephen D. Miller, 62, of Stroudsburg, was uninjured.

Police did not provide any details of the incident.
