State Rep. Tim Twardzik of Schuylkill County was recently named to City & State magazine’s annual “50 Over 50” list.

According to the Philadelphia-based publication, the selection was considered from several hundred recommendations, calling it “a compendium of some of the most influential difference-makers.”

Here is part of Twardzik’s citation in the magazine, which placed him 44th on the list.

“Twardzik has positioned himself as a champion of business, crusading against pandemic-related closures last year and hosting a recent hearing on pro-business policy fixes. He has also joined GOP efforts to fight mail-in ballots and school property taxes.”
