Over $19,000 stolen from video game device

Over $19,000 was reported stolen from a video game at a Schuylkill County business.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the Mobil service station, located at 20 Pottsville St., in Cressona borough, was entered on Nov. 15 at 3:14 p.m. by three people who then removed $19,355 from a video gaming device in the premises.

Troopers also reported investigating a theft at the Werner Lumber Ace hardware store at 40 N. Sillyman St., in Cressona. On Nov. 16 at 7:06 a.m. someone entered the store through an unlocked door. Once inside they forced their way from a garage area into the main store where they stole $150 in cash.
