State police at Frackville

State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents in Schuylkill County:

On Nov. 17 at 10:04 p.m. Devon Shaak, 32, of Minersville, walked onto the property of a 36-year-old man along Low Road in Cass Township. He entered the residence and made his way to the kitchen area. He then began eating food in the kitchen which alerted the homeowner. Both the homeowner and Shaak then walked outside.

Troopers said once outside Shaak refused to leave the property and a fight ensued in the driveway. Shaak was restrained until troopers arrived and taken into custody.

Shaak was charged with burglary and related charges and arraigned before on-call District Judge David J. Rossi, of Tremont. He was committed to the county prison after failing to post $50,000 bail.

• On Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. troopers responded to a report of damage to an industrial man lift at a PPL Electric substation, located in the area of 801 Lofty Road, in Delano Township. It was discovered that copper wires were taken from the device between 10 a.m. on Nov. 1 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 2.
