If you’ve ever attended a sporting event at Marian Catholic High School you’ve heard the chants of “Go Big Blue” coming from the stands and cheerleaders. On Giving Tuesday - a movement created to inspire a global day of generous giving, Marian is encouraging their alumni, friends and community to #GiveBigBlue.

“Giving Tuesday is a day that falls immediately after the busy buying season of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday,” said the school’s Director of Advancement, Dr. Erin Marek. “It’s a day designed to inspire people to do good for others. Giving Tuesday is a celebration of the radical impact that can be made when people join forces to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity together.”

Gifts to the school in honor of their #GiveBigBlue movement can be made by scanning the provided QR code, sending a donation to the school indicating “Giving Tuesday” on the correspondence, or by visiting their social media pages on Facebook or Instagram and following the links provided to their online giving platform. Supporters of the movement are encouraged to share the hashtag #GiveBigBlue on their social media accounts to help spread the news fundraising efforts at the school.
