The Sons of the American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, are helping to make the families of those less fortunate a little brighter with their donation of $800 to the Summit Hill Food Pantry for the purchase of turkeys for its Thanksgiving distribution.

Food Pantry representative Rose Marie Armon said the donation is “wonderful” as it will assist the pantry in its distribution of food baskets to 75-80 families that need assistance.

Making the donation for the Sons were Commander Stan Karnish, First Vice Commander Kevin Collevechio, Adjutant Brian Folk and Finance Officer Joe Zubek.
