State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of tires and rims in Carbon County.

Troopers said a 29-year-old man from Lansford reported four wheels/tires were stolen from the back of a pickup while parked along Centre Street in Parryville. The theft was reported on Nov. 16 at 10 a.m.

The wheels were described as Mudclaw tires (33-1250-15) and Dick Cepek DC1 rims. Total value of the items was set at $3,000.
