Thomas Burns, president of the Northeast Pennsylvania Trust Company, announced Wallace M. Kleckner, a Summit Hill native, has joined the advisory board of the company.

Kleckner will be responsible for the introduction of potential customers and the development of financial business in the Carbon County area.

A graduate of the former Summit Hill High School, he has 39 years of service to banking in the region, having held positions as assistant manager, manager and assistant vice president at various banking institutions.

He and his wife, Mary Ellen, reside in Lansford and have a daughter, Amy Shuey and a granddaughter Lexie.
