State police at Schuylkill Haven

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways:

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 9:05 p.m. on Nov. 14 along Long Run Road, in Wayne Township. Troopers said Justin R. Lare, 36, of Tamaqua, was driving a 2006 Saturn westbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. His vehicle struck the deer. Lare was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.

• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 3:51 p.m. on Nov. 7 along Route 61 in North Manheim Township, south of the Mount Carbon Arch Road.

The drivers involved were identified as John Robinson, 71, of New Ringgold, driving a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, and Sean M. McCarter, 45, of Temple, Berks County, driving a 2007 Ford Focus. No details of the crash were released by police. No one was injured.

A one-vehicle crash was reported at 5:04 a.m. on Oct. 29 along Route 443 in Pine Grove Township. Troopers said Ryan M. Vuksta, 26, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cruze when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle went onto the west sidewalk and hit multiple parking meters and a parking sign. It came to rest on the sidewalk.

Vuksta was evaluated at the scene and released. The vehicle had to be towed.
