State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers:

• A one-vehicle crash was reported on Nov. 20 at 11:15 a.m. Stoney Mountain Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Scott L. Zoscin, 20, of Weatherly, was driving a 2017 Kia Forte at a high rate of speed westbound when he undercompensated for a left curve in the road. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck an embankment. Zoscin overcompensated for the error and his car returned to the road, then traveled off the road into the brush on the south side, overturning onto its hood.

Zoscin refused medical treatment. He was cited for the crash.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6:36 p.m. on Nov. 18 along Route 534 in Penn Forest Township. Troopers said Danielle A. Draina, 24, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2008 BMW 328i eastbound during a snowstorm when he lost control. The car left the road and struck a utility pole. Draina was not injured. The vehicle was towed.

• Another one-vehicle crash occurred at 5:54 p.m. on Nov. 17 along Frantz Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Lisa Clark, 63, of Effort, was driving a 2006 Acura eastbound when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole.

Clark was not injured but the vehicle was towed.

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 9:58 a.m. on Nov. 13 along Route 940 in East Side Boro, Carbon County. Troopers said Jenny Cortez, 45, of East Stroudsburg, was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole on the right side. After impact the SUV spun counterclockwise and hit a tree. The vehicle came to rest in a yard at 4628 Route 940.

Cortez was injured and taken to the Geisinger Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre by Lake Harmony ambulance. She was cited for the crash.

• Troopers investigated a one-vehicle crash at 10:46 a.m. on Nov. 11 along Jonas Road in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Ronald W. Jackson III, 30, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado truck eastbound when it left the road and struck trees along the berm. Jackson was not injured but the truck was towed.

He was cited for the crash.
