Calvary Lewistown

Pastor Ralph Saunders will officiate at the 10:25 a.m. worship service this Sunday at Calvary Evangelical Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. and evening service at 6:30 p.m. There will be no Wednesday service on Nov. 23.

Harvest Home foods will be collected until the morning service on Nov. 27.

St. Peter’s Church West Penn

Tamaqua Seniors

The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on Nov. 10 with 25 members in attendance. President Mary Bittle opened the meeting with the reading “Friends Are Life’s Gift Of Love.”

MaryAnn Laughlin was added to the sick list and Dolores Walck was given a warm welcome back by the group. A moment of remembrance was observed in honor of Veterans Day.

The group meets every Thursday at the Coaldale Complex at 1 p.m. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

American Primitive

The Rev. Rick Clemson will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday in American Primitive Methodist Church. Sunday school class is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Recorded message is available at www.facebook.com/PMChurch Tamaqua.
