State police at Bethlehem

State police at Bethlehem releases details on incidents:

• Police were dispatched to 4105 Levans Road in North Whitehall Township on Oct. 4 at 9:21 a.m. for a theft report. On scene troopers said a 63-year-old Walnutport man said someone had broken into a garage and removed a Zero Turn lawnmower valued at $6,000 and a chainsaw valued at $300. There was $300 in damages to a window on a door.

• Willie Baxter, 26, and Kathy Rodriguez Ramos, 20, both of Scranton, are facing charges after a stop made by police at 10 p.m. Oct. 7.

Police said they stopped a 2013 Toyota in which they were occupants and found illegal drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle, as well as a prohibited offensive weapon.

The stop was made at the intersection of Route 100 and Herber Road in Lowhill Township.

• A Danielsville man is facing charges following an incident that occurred at 1:52 a.m. on Oct. 14 along Route 22 in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County.

State police said a Chevrolet Silverado truck was stopped location and the driver identified as William Tworkowsky, 28. Troopers said he was found to be operating the vehicle with a non-functioning ignition interlock system.

Troopers said Tworkowsky has an occupational limited license that requires a functioning interlock system on the vehicle.

• A two-vehicle crash occurred at 4:24 pm. on Oct. 27 along Weaversville Road in East Allen Township, Northampton County. Anthony R. Schaffer, 61, of Bethlehem, was driving in the right lane of Weaversville Road with Zachary R. Shimer, 36, of Walnutport, directly behind him. Troopers said Shimer’s vehicle rear-ended Schaffer’s.

Schaffer sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Shimer was not injured.

Schaffer was cited for the crash.
